Brexit, EU budget, US steel tariffs, digital company taxation

Release Date: 15 Mar 2018
During the European Parliament’s March plenary session, MEPs approved a Resolution on future EU-UK relations after Brexit and debated the EU’s post-2020 budget ahead of formal Commission proposals due in May.
The European Commission and MEPs also discussed the EU’s response to the US President’s move to impose tariffs on steel and aluminium. And an EPP Group MEP, Alain Lamassoure, has come up with an idea on how to put a stop to tax avoidance by big digital companies.
