VisitBritain Teams Up With Google to Give Millions a 'Street View' of British Destinations [Source: VisitBritain ]

[19-Mar-2009] Millions of internet users can see a sample of what they are missing in Britain, thanks to a new partnership between national tourism agency, VisitBritain, and the world's most popular search engine, Google. The two organisations announced today (19 March 2009), the launch of Google Street View in the UK featuring 25 cities and towns from around Britain and Northern Ireland. Available video includes general views of streets and landmarks in the UK.
