Behind the scenes of adidas Football

With only three more months to go until the 2014 FIFA World CupTM in Brazil, adidas today launched a series of video clips portraying employees from behind the scenes of adidas Football. Eleven key players from the adidas Innovation Team, Football Design, Sports Marketing, Athlete Services, Football Product Management and more share informative, entertaining and very personal insights about their jobs and talk about their personal experience having been a key member of the adidas World Cup team.

As of today, eleven clips are being rolled out as a weekly series on the adidas Group blog - http://bit.ly/1cBJGPr

"For most people, the 2014 FIFA World CupTM officially begins with its kick-off on June 12, for us at adidas, it kicked off a long time ago. adidas employees around the world and from a variety of departments have been working hard to make the World Cup in Brazil happen and to help make this World Cup the best ever – for players, fans, our many partners all around the world, and for the adidas brand as a whole", said Paul Seline, adidas Project Lead FIFA World Cups, in his opening post on the adidas Group blog - http://t.co/Xd0SzBIm44

Why is Brazuca more than just a football? How is the game of football changing and how does adidas manage to shape the future of it? What does it mean for an Argentinian to be the responsible designer of the Argentinian World Cup jersey and why does the Sports Marketing manager responsible for the German Football Federation believe he has the best job in the world? These questions and many more are being answered in a very authentic and personal way by people who not only work in football but also live and breathe football – people who are football.
