ANCHOR LEAD: They say a picture is worth a thousand words… and in the following story, you may be left thinking of words like strong, determined and life. Chanel Caraway has the story. (:60) SCRIPT: Newsbreak, I'm Chanel Caraway. Metastatic breast cancer is the most advanced stage of breast cancer. By 2015, an estimated 175,000 women in the U.S. will be living with this condition. But what does life with metastatic breast cancer look like? Show the world your strength and help shine a light on metastatic breast cancer by posting a photo of yourself on Twitter using the hashtag M-B-C Strength. Photos will be selected for a Times Square display on Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day: October 13th, 2014. Linda Carey is an example of a strong woman living with metastatic breast cancer and is co-founder of The Carey Foundation. CUT: (Carey) So many things changed after my diagnosis, and it was overwhelming at times. But expressing myself through art, from journaling to drawing, has helped me move forward and allowed me to reconnect with my life. I encourage all women with metastatic breast cancer to take pride in their journey and share their story with others.
