SCRIPT: Financial Fitness, I'm Brian Osuch. Could your age shape how you feel about your finances in retirement? Aron Levine, head of Merrill Edge says their new survey shows younger generations predict more stress than older ones.
CUT: (Levine) In our latest Merrill Edge Report, most Gen-Xers and Millennials predict financial stress in retirement, while almost three quarters of retirees think they'll have enough to see them through retirement.
SCRIPT: The study also found negative financial feelings can lead to positive actions.
CUT: (Levine) Nearly a third of non-retirees are motivated to make positive financial decisions by financial stress, embarrassment or peer pressure. The key to success at any age is to turn negative emotions into positive financial actions.
