CASE, Local Dealers Donate Equipment for Kip Moore's "Comeback Kid" Skatepark Project

San Marcos Skatepark Construction

CASE Construction Equipment and regional dealers ASCO Equipment (Texas) and Diamond Equipment (Tennessee) have donated equipment to the construction of two skate parks as part of multi-platinum country music star Kip Moore's "Comeback Kid" Skatepark Project. The equipment, including skid steers and backhoes, is being used for grading and excavation, and assisting in the construction of the park structures. CASE will also donate equipment for future park development in other cities throughout the country.

Named for one of the songs on his new album, "Wild Ones", the "Comeback Kid" Skatepark Project is a passion project for Moore. The parks combine the singer's love for alternative sports with his desire to help inner city children, and are being built in partnership with Nashville-based Salemtown Board Co. American Ramp Company (ARC) is the official design/build partner.

"The 'Comeback Kid Skatepark Project' is all about community and providing kids with a place to go where they can skate safely and have a good time," says Moore. "CASE and its partners are helping me bring this vision to life and the resources they are providing are appreciated, they really get what we're doing here."

"We have a passion for building the fabric of our local communities," says Athena Campos, senior director - marketing, CASE Construction Equipment. "We've been driving local infrastructure development, including parks, through our Dire States initiative for a few years now. So when Kip shared his vision for developing skate parks, we knew this was another perfect way to partner with him and our dealers."

CASE and Moore have partnered together on a number of projects, including the Labor of Love music festival benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. Moore's new album, "Wild Ones", is on sale now.
