CNH Industrial Highlights Strengths in Natural Gas Technologies at ECOMONDO

The Honourable Gian Luca Galletti, Italy's Minister of the Environment, Land and Sea, visits the CNH Industrial
CNH Industrial N.V. (NYSE: CNHI / MI: CNHI) is placing emphasis on its European leadership in natural gas commercial vehicles at ECOMONDO. Italy's largest environmentally-focused exhibition, ECOMONDO is dedicated to institutional stakeholders and decision makers, providing a platform to address the principal European and international strategies for ecological innovation and the transformation of waste into resources. Held in Rimini, Italy, this four-day event runs until November 8th and is expected to draw over 100,000 private and public sector participants.

This occasion provides CNH Industrial with a significant opportunity for engagement with institutional stakeholders and to promote its prominence in sustainable fuels. The company's initiatives at ECOMONDO are being driven by the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Institutional Relations team. Included amongst these initiatives is the company's participation in two seminars, both taking place on November 7th. The first of the two seminars, "Energy, technology and mobility solutions for a sustainable city", will see Institutional Relations present CNH Industrial's multi-sector approach to innovation and its vision for future sustainable mobility.

The second seminar, "The biogas supply chain: a green deposit worth investigating", focuses on technical and strategic issues related to the exploitation of biogas production supply chains. Institutional Relations will highlight CNH Industrial's European leadership in natural gas and biomethane technologies, using the company's expertise in the field as a springboard to voice its perspective on the current European legislative scenario.

CNH Industrial is also present with a stand at ECOMONDO which demonstrates its outright excellence when it comes to the research, design and production of natural gas engines and commercial vehicles. The stand features the sustainable mobility efforts of its brands to date for the powertrain segment, for on and off road transport applications and for agricultural machinery. The Iveco Daily CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) on display is a physical demonstration of the company's advanced stance in the alternative fuels marketplace. This latest light commercial vehicle from Iveco recently won the prestigious "Van of the Year 2015" title at the International Motor Show in Hanover, Germany.
