Las Vegas Shines for New Year's Eve 2018

Release Date: 01 Jan 2018   |   Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS -- An estimated 330,000 people rang in 2018 in Las Vegas on the Strip and downtown as a spectacular fireworks show lit up the skies overhead. More than 80,000 pyrotechnics were launched from the rooftops of MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island (TI), The Venetian, and the Stratosphere. In downtown Las Vegas at the Fremont Street Experience, party-goers saw both live entertainment, a toast from Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman and her husband former Mayor Oscar B. Goodman, and a show on the Fremont Street Experience Viva Vision.  The Las Vegas News Bureau captured the sights and sounds of the celebrations from the Fremont Street Experience, Las Vegas Marriott on Convention Center Drive, McCarran International Airport and the Rio Hotel and Casino.
