The European Parliament’s Legal Affairs Committee has approved a content portability regulation that will allow EU citizens to access their online music, films and other content when they travel across Europe. The legislation, an exception to geoblocking for temporary stays abroad inside the EU, goes before the full parliament in May and would take effect in spring of next year.
