EU´s Horizon 2020; boosting economy through Research and Development

The EU´s 70 billion euro plan to speed funding to promising R&D projects over seven years - Horizon 2020 - aims to bring innovation to market. The plan, co-authored by the EPP Group´s Maria Da Graça Carvalho, is part of an effort to make the EU more competitive, fighting unemployment and brain drain of expertise abroad.
