FILA Germany Unveils Customizable Collection at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix
(FILA Germany) – FILA is excited to once again renew its apparel partnership with the WTA Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, Germany’s most important tennis tournament. And this year, FILA’s apparel sponsorship will be marked the launch of BE INDIVIDUAL, a new collection of tennis apparel with a unique and personal twist.
For over 100 years, FILA has been one of the most influential brands in the sportswear category. In fact, it’s hard to imagine the European clothing market or the courts of Wimbledon without the brand’s iconic F-box. This 2016 season, FILA is continuing its tradition of making bold statements on the court with the launch of a new collection of customizable clothing. Dubbed BE INDIVIDUAL, the tennis collection was inspired by the style of former FILA athlete Bjorn Borg – one of the best players ever to hit the tennis courts, and a style icon known for having his initials embroidered on his performance polos. The BE INDIVIDUAL collection will include a variety of apparel items such as tracksuit tops, shirts, trousers, and skorts, each designed to sport the wearer’s initials in custom embroidery.
Visitors to the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix have the opportunity to purchase an article from the FILA BE INDIVIDUAL tennis collection at the brand’s promotional booth. Staff on hand will assist customers in adding free custom embroidery to the clothing, turning each item into a unique piece.
