FILA Named a "2016 Top Innovator" by Apparel Magazine for Urban Outfitters Collaboration

(FILA North America) - FILA has been selected as a “2016 Top Innovator" by Apparel Magazine​, in recognition of the brand's recent collaboration with Urban Outfitters. FILA will be profiled among top apparel companies, in the 9th annual "Innovator" special issue of the publicaton due out in May. Honorees were recognized in a range of areas, including marketing, merchandising, and unique partnerships.
 
FILA and Urban Outfitters first aligned in Fall '15, to launch an exclusive collection of apparel and accessories. FILA dug deep into its archives for inspiration, as pieces combined retro elements from the brand’s iconic heritage in sporting style, with a modern spin for the Urban Outfitters customer seeking vintage-inspired styles. FILA designed updates on some of their classic staples from the 1970’s, 80's and 90’s including striped polo tees, raglan sweatshirts, and athletic jackets inspired by the pieces seen on 1970’s tennis legends. FILA continues its relationship wiith Urban Outfitters, launching new collections for women and men beginnig Spring '16.
