SCRIPT: Newsbreak, I'm Bobbi Owens. For the past six years, Doritos fans have dominated the USA TODAY Ad Meter with their consumer-created Super Bowl spots. Doritos brand's Jeff Klein says this year's Crash the Super Bowl contest offers the winner an opportunity that could be a true career game changer.
CUT: (Klein) Over the years, our fans have created more than 19,000 Doritos ads, taken home millions of dollars in grand prize winnings and made Doritos the brand to watch on Super Bowl Sunday. This year, we're offering the biggest, boldest contest grand prize to date, the chance to work on the blockbuster film from Paramount Pictures and Hasbro "Transformers 4" with acclaimed director Michael Bay.
SCRIPT: For a shot at the grand prize, fans must submit their homemade Doritos ads on the Doritos Facebook page before submissions close on November 16th.
CUT: (Klein) It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Plus, there's a million dollars on the line if a Doritos ad scores No. 1 on the USA TODAY Ad Meter. Check out Facebook dot com slash DoritosUSA for official contest rules, and submit your ad by November 16th.
