Audio Package, .mp3
ANCHOR LEAD: Every year, the Big Apple plays host for the unveiling of some of the hottest new cars. Brian Osuch has more. (:60) SCRIPT: Zero-to-Sixty, I’m Brian Osuch. The New York International Auto Show is underway and car enthusiasts are getting a glimpse of what’s to come in 2016. GM’s James Bell says one big trend at the New York show is always luxury-based vehicles…. CUT: (Bell) We saw the introduction of the all-new Cadillac CT6. It’s Cadillac getting back into the full-size sedan game. This vehicle is big, it’s got presence, style and grace… but it’s lighter weight. The Cadillac CT6 has a camera that’s built in to actually replace (in certain circumstances) what you see in the rearview mirror. SCRIPT: One of every seven cars sold in the U.S. fits into the midsize family sedan segment… and Bell says one stands out to him… CUT: (Bell) The Malibu is a very durable, reliable vehicle – great quality numbers. The sheet metal has been bent in beautiful ways. It’s got tons of space inside. There’s a system in there called Teen Driver System. You can set parameters – how fast the vehicle can go. And if you exceed those speeds, you get a mark on the report card. SCRIPT: For more, go to GM.com. That’s Zero-to-Sixty from GM.
