SCRIPT: Zero-to-Sixty, I’m Brian Osuch. Many consumers have become frustrated with the car shopping process. To help meet changing needs, GM’s James Bell says they’re introducing a revolutionary new way to buy or lease a vehicle… it’s called Shop-Click-Drive.
CUT: (Bell) Imagine this, sitting in the comfort of your own home – you do all the tough negotiations. You can plug in information about your current trade in to get an idea of what it might be worth.
SCRIPT: But it doesn’t stop there, you can print out a certificate, head to a dealership and go on a test drive. Bell says it’s a pretty easy process…
CUT: (Bell) When you log onto Shop-Click-Drive, it’s very simple. First off, it’s going to connect you with a local Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac dealer in your area, so you can actually access their dealer inventory. You then plug in your personal financial information to see which sort of interest rates you can be applied for. It actually give you a chance to compare that leasing versus purchase price over the term of the loan to see what makes the most sense for your budget.
