SCRIPT: Zero-to-Sixty, I’m Brian Osuch. In true LA style, the La Auto Show is showing off all the new models and technology car enthusiasts have come to expect from tinseltown. GM’s James Bell…
CUT: (Bell) Well for me, one of the coolest introductions the Chaparral concept car. Now Chaparral was a company that first put wings and ground effects on cars to help them slide through the air… especially on the racetrack. So what we have done is partner with Chaparral, to say, well what if they continue to innovate… what if they continue to come up with cool things for the racetrack here in 2014.
SCRIPT: Bell says trucks have been driving auto sales this year and there are some standouts…
CUT: (Bell) Trucks have been a huge part, a workhorse if you will in the recovery of the American car industry. And vehicles like the Chevrolet Silverado are a great example of just why. Because, I think people recognize that these trucks do much more than you’d expect from a truck. It’s actually putting out a Wi-Fi signal that I can attach my devices to. In fact, I can connect to seven different devices through the Wi-Fi that’s coming from this truck.
