Chevrolet's Halo Cars

They're powerful…They're fast…And they're sexy… So why are they called Halo cars? Because they sit at the top of an automaker's lineup and while we might not be in the market for a race car or a high-end customized luxury vehicle, Halo cars are exciting, aspirational and automakers know they create more interest in their brand.

But not all Halo cars are created equal. When it comes to Chevy it's all about performance! Chevrolet, which sells a quarter of all performance cars in the U.S., offers a stable of powerful street machines. Besides the legendary Corvette and Camaro, Chevy has added the new SS to its performance car line-up, a rear-wheel drive, 415 horsepower Sedan that goes zero to 60 in 5 seconds flat.

So while you might not be heading out to the racetrack anytime soon, and these cars deliver more power than you will ever need, checking them out may just get your engines going!
