OnStar: At CES 2015

At The 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) there's so much "auto" news it should be renamed the "Car Electronics Show"

With the connected car becoming more and more a part of our lives and every new vehicle coming equipped with increasingly sophisticated electronics, it's no surprise that automakers are making yet another big splash at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

And while most auto enthusiasts know that the self-driving car is on the horizon they may not be expecting a car that can actually help you save money, predict what may go wrong with your vehicle before it happens and even give you a report card on how good a driver you are (or are not)!

At this year's CES automaker continue to make news with the connected vehicle technologies and some of the latest developments include:

• A predictive technology that monitors vital components and warns the driver before they wear out.
• A smart driver assessment program to measure just how good a driver you really are.
• An extension to the already popular OnStar navigation service, called AtYourService, which helps driver find deals along their route and at their destination.
