Taiwanese company turns waste bottles into trees

: Faced with a growing mountain of unrecyclable cosmetic bottles, the O'Right Cosmetic Group developed a bottle made of corn starch which is 100% biodegradable and has tree seeds placed within the packaging. This means that once the bottle biodegrades it allows the seeds within it to germinate into a new tree. The idea is to make their business 100% carbon neutral by combining this with other initiatives such as only using recycled paper and soya based ink on all their packaging.
