IBM Delivers New Mobile Apps and Interactive Experience to U.S. Open Fans
IBM today unveiled new mobile apps and a dynamic combination of analytics, cloud and social technologies that deliver an interactive and insightful experience to fans of the 2014 U.S. Open tennis tournament. IBM and the United States Tennis Association (USTA) are collaborating to keep fans connected, engaged and close to the competition on the courts at the U.S. Open via immersive mobile apps for Apple iPhone and iPad, as well as Android devices that provide instant access to scores, live video, in-depth match analysis and statistics. More than 700,000 fans are expected to attend the U.S. Open tournament at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY, while millions of tennis enthusiasts will follow the action on their mobile devices.
