Fondazione FILA Museum Remains a Partner of the “Adopt a Champion" Project
(FILA Italy)  In 1983, FILA launched the first shoes featuring the brand’s iconic red and blue “F-Box.” It was a new path that led FILA, in the mid-90s, to reach the second place ranking in the United States basketball market. Since then, FILA has maintained its link with basketball, most recently by supporting Pallacanestro Biella, the Italian professional basketball team based in Biella.

The Pallacanestro Biella’s visit to the Fondazione FILA Museum on November 11, has renewed this historical connection.

According to the Fondazione FILA Museum: “It has been a great pleasure to host the athletes of the basketball team of Biella and to see them walking through the museum that tells the story of FILA. They have been able to experience the entrepreneurial adventure that this great brand has represented and to understand FILA’s roots and evolution during the years.”

The meeting ended with the signing of the “Adopt a Champion” agreement for the second consecutive year. This year’s champion is Federico Massone. Federico joined the first team this season (2016/2017), participating in the championship men's A2 Series, where he had the opportunity to make his debut among the team’s seniors and score the game’s first baskets.
