Release Date: 21 Oct 2013
Conway on his way to 4th win of the season and North American Championship
Fontana, Autoclub Speedway. Kevin Conway confirms his place in the history books as the inaugural Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo North America Champion.

The second last round of the inaugural North America Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series saw Kevin Conway of Lamborghini Carolinas and Change Racing, win his fourth race of the year to bring home the Championship in style. Joining Conway on the podium was Lawrence Holden for Lamborghini Beverly Hills and GMG Racing and Lee Davis and Ryan Eversely for Lamborghini Toronto & GMG Racing.

And in the Amateur class, Tom O'Gara for Lamborghini Beverly Hills and GMG Racing was crowned Series champion with a hard fought podium finish behind Hollywood actor, writer and director, Dax Shepard.

Newly crowned Champion, Kevin Conway said, "It's great to get the win here at Fontana and to take the first ever North American Championship. I have to thank all the guys at Change Racing who did an incredible job here today. I made some mistakes in qualifying, taking to the grid in third position. We know we've got a fantastic race car so I just hung in there, knowing that tire management was key and that proved to be the case."

Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series Coordinator, Tristan Herbert added, "Kevin fully deserved his win today and the Championship overall. Both Kevin and the guys at Lamborghini Carolinas and Change Racing have been great advocates of the series from the beginning. I'd also like to congratulate Tom O'Gara and his team from Beverly Hills and the GMG race team, who like Kevin has shown unwavering support all year. We had huge turnout here today from dealers and customers and it was great to welcome back Dax Shepard and Lawrence Holden, returning after a few races out. We look forward to the last race of a great first year tomorrow, with exciting announcements on the 2014 series to follow soon."

With Fontana just a short drive from Los Angeles, the hospitality was a buzz with dealers, customers and media as well as some well-known faces from Hollywood. With one round of the season remaining, tomorrow is sure to provide more of the same great race action and some well deserved celebration following a great inaugural year for the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series in North America.
