Patrick Kujala takes his eighth victory of the season in Nürburgring and wins 2015 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe

Release Date: 20 Sep 2015
Start Race 2
Nürburg / Sant'Agata Bolognese, 20 September 2015. Patrick Kujala is the 2015 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe Champion. The Bonaldi Motorsport driver won Race Two in Nürburgring and crowned as the new champion with still one round to go.

The 19-year old Finnish driver experienced a weekend to remember as he took his third double after those achieved in Monza and Silverstone. His closest rival today, Daniel Zampieri, did his best to spoil Kujala's weekend by twice taking second place in his Antonelli Motorsport Car. His team-mate Roman Mavlanov (RUS) was also among the protagonists in the early stages before he handed the wheel to Zampieri.

Patric Niederhauser and Edoardo Liberati achieved a well-deserved P3 just ahead of their Raton Racing team mate Alberto Di Folco. The Team Lazarus pairing of Sergio Campana and Fabrizio Crestani also fought for top positions in the first laps before being forced to retire following a minor contact with Milos Pavlovic. The Serbian shared the wheel of the Sportec Motorsport car with the Italian Roberto Pampanini. Pavlovic was also later penalized with a drive-through for the contact.
