The Lamborghini Huracán GT3 scored a victory in the Italian GT Championship at Le Castellet

Lamborghini wins in the only one abroad round of the 2018 Italian GT Championship. At Paul Ricard circuit, second round of the Italian series at Le Castellet in France, Petri Corse’s Lamborghini Huracán GT3 won Race 2, with the crew composed by Giacomo Barri and Andrea Palma. Starting from the fifth position on the grid, the number 23 Huracán of Petri team led a comeback race, without smudging, which allowed to catch the first success of the season.
In second place another Lamborghini Huracán GT3: it is the number 63 of Antonelli Motorsport team led by Daniel Zampieri and Giacomo Altoé. The two Italians, however, had already climbed the third step of the podium in Race 1 held on Saturday, behind the sister car of Antonelli, the number 19 led by young Martin Vedel and Lorenzo Veglia who came just second.
Satisfaction also on the other side of the world, during the second round of the Blancpain GT Series Asia held in Thailand, at the Buriram International circuit that also hosted the second round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia.
The Lamborghini Huracán GT3 of the FFF Racing team, led by Dennis Lind and Martin Kodric, scored a solid second place in Race 2. This result, added to the other second place obtained at the opening round at Sepang, places the two GT3 Junior Driver of Lamborghini Squadra Corse at the top of the Asian Championship standings with 54 points, four ahead of the Mercedes AMG-GT3 direct pursuer.
