Seizing terror and criminal assets across EU

The European Parliament’s Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs Committee has approved legislation to block terrorists’ access to financing, sending the dossier to plenary next week. The EPP Group’s Shadow Rapporteur Salvatore Pogliesi says the EU-wide legislation, based on an Italian system, will be effective in combating crime and terrorism, as well as in compensating victims.
