A new main office in central London with global functions will help the LEGO Group further globalise the company and reach more children with creative play experiences.
Today the LEGO Group inaugurated a strategically important office in the heart of London, UK. The new office is the fifth main office established globally in recent years by the LEGO group. The other main offices are located in Enfield, USA, Shanghai, China, Singapore, and the headquarters in Billund, Denmark.
"It is our strategy to bring creative LEGO play experiences to children in every country in the world. To do that we need to be present globally, attract talented employees in many locations and offer exciting career opportunities that engage and develop our employees, and our main offices - including our new office in London - support us in doing exactly this. London is an important city in Europe with access to a broad pool of talents, " says Jørgen Vig Knudstorp, CEO and President of the LEGO Group.
The official opening of the office was celebrated in London by employees and top management, and present was also Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, the owner and grandson of the founder of the LEGO Group, Ole Kirk Kristiansen
