Thousands of Santas Spotted in Downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS -- Thousands of Santas took over Downtown Las Vegas on Dec. 3 to race, run and walk for the 12th annual Las Vegas Great Santa Run. Human Nature joined Opportunity Village as the Grand Marshals of the 5K, and The Strip’s famed Chippendales served as the marshals for the 1-mile Kris Kringle Jingle Walk. The morning kicked with live entertainment on the Third Street Stage at the Fremont Street Experience, followed by the 5K and Kris Kringle Jingle Walk, amd Blitzen’s Bar Crawl after the race. Last year, more than 9,000 runners participated in the event. An internationally recognized holiday tradition that attracts families, businesses, individuals and global tourists to downtown Las Vegas, the event is a fundraiser for Opportunity Village. Founded in 1954, Opportunity Village,a not-for-profit organization serving children and adults in the southern Nevada community with intellectual disabilities.
