Classroom of the Future: Samsung School Transforms Learning at Eloy Intermediate School

Eloy Intermediate School in Arizona is closing the digital divide with the first school-wide deployment of the Samsung School technology suite in the US. The rural school has successfully rolled out the integrated classroom technology solution across 15 classes since the start of the 2013/14 academic year. Samsung School combines Galaxy Note 10.1 tablets, interactive whiteboards and powerful management software to create a dynamic digital learning environment. "Access to this caliber of classroom technology is life changing for our students and faculty," said Ruby James, Superintendent of Eloy Elementary School District. "Following the implementation of Samsung School, both student attendance and engagement have skyrocketed with teaching staff seeing nearly 100 percent student attendance and a new eagerness to learn. It's opening new opportunities for learning for these students and helping give them the 21st century skills to compete at college and in the workforce."
