Cristina Vall−Llosada, New Head of Corporate Communications at SEAT

Martorell, 14/04/2016. – Cristina Vall-Llosada (Blanes, 1973), has been appointed the new head of Corporate Communications at SEAT effective on 18 April. Vall-Llosada will report directly to Communications director Christian Stein, and is replacing Serafí del Arco (Callús, Barcelona, 1972), who is leaving the company to pursue new professional challenges.

Vall-Llosada, who holds a degree in Communication and Public Relations, has developed her career in various communication consultancies, particularly Porter Novelli (Omnicom Group), where she was the Barcelona delegation director and a member of its Steering Committee. From 2006 to 2008 she taught crisis communication management at the University of Girona. She joined SEAT in December 2010 to head strategic corporate communication and she was responsible for leading future projects relating to e-mobility, connectivity and digitalisation.

In a crucial phase of major challenges for the auto industry, Vall-Llosada’s appointment comes at an important moment to position SEAT as a key player in connectivity and sustainability.

Del Arco was responsible for Corporate Communication at SEAT since he joined the company in December 2009. With a background in Economics and Business Sciences, he was hired after leaving the daily El País. During his tenure at SEAT, the company increased its media presence and corporate reputation.
