ANCHOR LEAD: The iconic orange box is getting a make over. And now kids as well as adults can get in on the fun and help children around the world. Bobbi Owens has more. (:60) SCRIPT: Newsbreak, I'm Bobbi Owens. 62 years old and still going strong, the "Trick or Treat for UNICEF" program shows no signs of aging. This year the original "kids helping kids" program, is offering even more ways that you can contribute, to help children all over the globe. Caryl Stern is President and CEO of UNICEF's U.S. Fund. CUT: (Stern) American Airlines will be doing Trick or Treat for UNICEF as part of their "Change for Good" campaign on limited flights between October 24th and 31st where you can drop your loose change in. You can "text to give" this year. Text T-O-T to the letters U-N-I-C-E-F or the numbers 8-6-4-2-3-3. SCRIPT: What is the "Create a Character" contest? CUT: (Stern) This year we have six boxes. If you get in before October 26th, we've got the blank box. You get the opportunity to create a Halloween character of your choosing. And you get to then download your picture. Three of them will be selected, and will be made into limited edition boxes that can be distributed in your community next year. SCRIPT: For more, and to enter your design visit UNICEF-USA-dot-org. That's Newsbreak from UNICEF.
