In an effort to help U.S. Veterans and their spouses achieve long-term stability and success, Hilton Worldwide, Goodwill Industries International and University of Phoenix have teamed up to offer the Hilton Military Internship Program. Ruth Veloria with University of Phoenix… CUT: (Veloria) Those who participate in the program have an opportunity to earn a certificate in Hospitality Management from University of Phoenix School of Business. They also get to participate in a separate six-month, paid internship at a Hilton Worldwide property in a select city. SCRIPT: Veloria says those who successfully complete the program are guaranteed an interview opportunity with Hilton for full-time supervisory positions. CUT: (Veloria) Connecting veterans who bring unique and valuable skills to the civilian workplace with leadership opportunities in this dynamic sector provides tremendous value for the organization and its employees. SCRIPT: Throughout the Hilton Military Internship program, learners will receive career counseling, resume preparation and other support from Goodwill to help translate their military skills to civilian life.
