European Parliament celebrates and debates the Euro’s 20th birthday

Marking the Euro’s 20th anniversary, Members of the European Parliament noted how the single currency has been an anchor and shield for Europe’s economy. EPP Group MEPs also noted how the Euro has played a key role in creating Europe’s Single Market, the world’s largest.
