Defend rule of law in Poland with new measures

The European Parliament debated new action to pressure Poland´s nationalist government to back down on its attack on dissident judges, including its new "muzzle law" to fire judges critical of its policies. To defend rule of law in Poland, the EPP Group calls on the European Commission to refer the issue to the European Court of Justice and to take other interim measures.
