The World Economic Forum (WEF) has become a recurrent event for TheNewsMarket with the release of the PwC’s Global CEO survey.
The survey is one of the main events in PwC’s annual calendar – taking over their corporate website and attracting a high profile audience.
This year, PwC wanted the event to be even bigger as it celebrated the Global CEO Survey’s 20th Anniversary, presented for the first time by new Global Chairman, Bob Moritz.
Extend reach beyond Davos via the PwC website
We typically produce a live webcast of the press conference but to celebrate the survey’s 20th anniversary, we wanted to go further.
We created a TV programme (with its own presenter) that needed to be editorially strong to top and tail the press conference – also broadcasted on TV screens in the PwC lounge – to build up to the event.
Our production team was also onsite to produce social media content that has received thousands of views in the first two days.
Content was distributed via PwC’s online newsroom (http://press.pwc.com) and www.thenewsmarket.com content hub – resulting in tier-1 news coverage across broadcast, print and online outlets such as BBC, Reuters, Euronews, Agencia EFE, International Business Times, Deutsche Welle (DW), The Independent, The Guardian, and Il Sole 24 Ore, France 24 and Bloomberg.
