NEW YORK: Ed Lamoureaux has taken on the joint role of SVP of North America at TheNewsMarket and SVP of new business development at Synaptic Digital.
Lamoureaux said both firms, which are owned by parent company Definition 6, are part of “a nimble company with a powerful reputation.”
“The client logo sheet is a testament to the quality of the work this company does,” he added.
Lamoureaux will run TheNewsMarket in North America and work to drive large client growth for Synaptic Digital in the newly created role.
He noted that he looks forward to contributing to “a revolutionary shift in how brands and their agencies do video storytelling.” Lamoureaux will also work to create tool sets needed by brands to break through the clutter and connect with audiences, as well as helping marketing directors, brand managers, and comms pros grow their use of narrative marketing and video storytelling.
Previously, Lamoureaux spent three years at Ketchum as SVP and director of business development and was SVP at WestGlen Communications from 2004 to 2012. He also worked at both Synaptic Digital, formerly known as Medialink and TheNewsMarket when they were emerging companies.
