The 2018 Bulldog PR Awards are a combination of Digital, Social Media and Media Relations awards programs recognizing outstanding PR and communications campaigns from 2017 and judged by journalists.

As a thought leader in the industry, IBM wanted to share its story and technological advancements with the media and the wider public. With this in mind, IBM and TheNewsMarket completely re-launched the IBM Newsroom to cater for new audiences and the new ways journalists and influencers now search and consume content – successfully spreading IBM’s content to wider audiences.

With new technologies and an even faster paced news cycle, media professionals are increasingly turning to online newsrooms to find supporting content for their stories and to keep up to date with the latest announcements. In 2017, TheNewsMarket surveyed more than 110 journalists about how they use brand content resources to support their editorial stories. 85% agreed online newsrooms are useful, with over 90% of them finding text stories with related video and images of most use.

IBM developed its first online newsroom with TheNewsMarket over ten years ago in 2007, providing high definition, broadcast-quality multimedia assets – copyright and cost free – for registered journalists.
