ANCHOR LEAD: When it comes to financial education, understanding the basics is critical. A new initiative offers tips and videos throughout April that will help consumers to "Get Wise" about their finances. Brian Osuch has the details. (:60) SCRIPT: Financial Fitness, I'm Brian Osuch. April is Financial Literacy Month, a perfect opportunity for consumers to learn the basics or refresh their financial literacy knowledge. Ally's Manager of Community Relations, Jacqueline Howard… CUT: (Proia) Throughout the month of April, Ally will provide a "Four Weeks to Get Wise" a financial literacy initiative with tips and videos on Twitter and YouTube, focusing on topics like credit, budget, banking, investing and auto finance. Our 'Get Wise' tips are an easy way for consumers to reach their financial goals. Some of my favorite examples from our video series are tips on budgeting, saving and investing. SCRIPT: According to Howard, there is free financial education available throughout the year.
