Raiders, Allegiant Agree on Naming Rights Deal for Las Vegas Stadium
The Raiders and Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) recently announced an agreement for the naming rights to Las Vegas Stadium, the under-construction future home of the Raiders and UNLV football. This partnership with the Raiders presents a global branding opportunity for the Las Vegas-based company as Allegiant will have its name showcased on the 1.75 million-square-foot, state-of-the-art domed stadium that will also host many world-class major sports and entertainment events. Allegiant Stadium will also serve as site of the Las Vegas Bowl beginning in 2020, which will feature a Pac-12 football opponent versus either a Big Ten or SEC opponent, as well as the 2020 and 2021 Pac-12 Football Championship Game. SAHARA Las Vegas Officially Debuts on the Las Vegas Strip
The former SLS Las Vegas will now operate under the resort’s original, iconic brand name – SAHARA Las Vegas. Since Alex Meruelo purchased the property in April of last year, significant strides have been made in transforming the resort experience. Completed renovations within the $150 million resort overhaul include an updated casino floor featuring the stylish 24-hour CASBAR Lounge and the recently unveiled Infinity premium gaming lounge, renovated hotel rooms, suites and corridors, an upgraded spa and a soon-to-debut new hotel lobby. Major updates to the resort exterior continue as remodeling of the main porte cochère began earlier this week while a full renovation of the resort’s main pool is slated for later this fall. Additional updates include a refresh and new paint color for the building’s exterior along with soon-to-be installed marquee signage and lettering signaling the name change. Okuda San Miguel to Debut "Mother Natura" at Park MGM's Mama Rabbit Bar in Las Vegas
Acclaimed Spanish artist Okuda San Miguel has partnered with Mama Rabbit Bar at Park MGM in Las Vegas to create “Mother Natura” – a project featuring the country’s first sculptural slot machines and an accompanying mural inspired by the legend of Mayahuel, the Mexican goddess of agave and fertility. Through his acclaimed Pop Surrealistic style, Okuda created a mural of goddess Mayahuel looking down upon a valley with agave, accompanied by three slot machines embedded in painted fiberglass sculptures. OYO Hotels Partners with Highgate to Create Flagship OYO Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas
OYO Hotels & Homes, the world’s third-largest and fastest-growing hotel chain, recently announced that it has partnered with Highgate to create its first key flagship property in Las Vegas, OYO’s first property in this lively city - OYO Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. Tickets to "Lost Vegas: Tim Burton @The Neon Museum" Now on Sale
The Neon Museum announces tickets are now on sale for “Lost Vegas: Tim Burton @ The Neon Museum Presented by the Engelstad Foundation,” which will be on view Oct. 15 through Feb. 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily. AREA15 Announces First Food & Beverage Experience, Oddwood

Construction Beam Hoisted at Las Vegas Convention Center
The tradesmen and tradeswomen working on the Las Vegas Convention Center District (LVCCD) Expansion project recently signed a commemorative “final” beam that was hoisted into the expansion project’s new 600,000-square-foot exhibit hall. The LVCCD program includes the 1.4 million-square-foot expansion project and the renovation of the Las Vegas Convention Center’s existing 3.2 million square feet. The total budget for the LVCCD program is $1.475 billion. The raising of the beam in the new exhibit hall celebrated a significant milestone in the completion of the expansion project. Las Vegas Aviators to Host 2020 Triple-A National Championship Game
Triple-A Baseball recently announced that the Las Vegas Aviators® have been selected to host the 2020 Ephesus Sports Lighting Triple-A National Championship Game, which will be played at Las Vegas Ballpark® on Tuesday, September 22. The game will feature the champion of the Pacific Coast League, against the champion of the International League in a one-game winner-take-all showdown for Triple-A supremacy.
