EPP’s Weber on EU−Hungary showdown

EPP Group Chairman Manfred Weber comments after the Group’s meeting on 11 Sept with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban at the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The meeting preceded a vote in the European Parliament on 12 Sept. on whether to begin Article 7 proceedings against Hungary over Orban’s policies criticised as anti-democratic.
