FILA Heritage Footwear Featured in Baja East Fall '16 RTW New York Fashion Week Show

Release Date: 14 Feb 2016
Baja East + FILA

(FILA North America) - Baja East held its Fall '16 Ready-to-Wear runway show on February 13, as part of New York Fashion Week. To complement the latest apparel collection from the brand, all models hit the catwalk wearing a variety of FILA Heritage shoe styles. Among the featured footwear was the FILA Drifter and the FILA Cage, with design details such as faux shearling, croc and metallic embellishments.

Last month, Baja East released its 2016 Pre-Fall lookbook, highlighting the newest men’s and women’s collection from design duo Scott Studenberg and John Targon. The 27 featured looks included the company’s signature “loose luxury” styles like harem pants, t-shirts and cotton knits, as well as a range of dressier options, from dresses to wrap tops. Each look was paired with FILA’s Drifter slide. FILA worked with Baja East on the faux shearling versions of the Drifter, as pictured in the lookbook and as seen on the runway, bringing a touch of high-end luxury to a classic silhouette.

The collaboration continues, as the Baja East + FILA Drifters will be available at a variety of retail locations including:

  • Hirshleifers: Manhasset, Long Island
  • Maxfield: Los Angeles
  • Opening Ceremony: New York
  • Curve: New York, San Francisco and Miami locations
  • SSENSE.com
  • FORWARD By Elyse Walker (fwrd.com)
  • At Ease On Sunset: South Miami, Florida
