(FILA North America) --- FILA’s “Barcode” pack lines up two key silhouettes in the FX-100 and Overpass 2.0 Fusion for consumers. The inspiration of the pack lies within the meaning of the word barcode – a readable code in the representation of data, which usually describes something about the object. So the inspiration of the “Barcode” pack pertains to carrying the brands DNA the same way as the code carries data. Taking on the classic black and white colorway, these two silhouettes produce a modern look and style fit for the fall weather.
FILA has seen terrific success with the FX-100, following a few collaborations, the brand opted to bring the silhouette back into its in-line category. Now on October 14, FILA will follow-up the “Let It Reign” and “Game Over” colorways with another original colorway, in white/black. First debuting in 1991, the FX-100 was one of FILA's original hi-top silhouettes, eventually credited with setting the tone for the 90's era of the brand. The “Barcode” FX-100 features an all-white leather upper atop a black midsole and outsole. The iconic flag and FILA branding detail appear in black.
Last month, FILA dropped a modern update on the Overpass runner, which debuted back in 1993. The second release of the Overpass 2.0 Fusion will feature no-sew construction on the upper, open air mesh, pearlized molded overlays, molded TPU structure at the collar, a deconstructed counter, die-cut EVA midsole and solid ice rubber outsole.
