(FILA Global) - FILA sponsored tennis athlete Marin Cilic, captured the 2016 Swiss Indoors Title in Basel, Switzerland. Cilic defeated Kei Nishikori in straight sets to claim the victory. This marks Marin’s second title of the season. In August, he was crowned the men’s singles champion at the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati.
Cilic has also qualified for the ATP World Tour Finals in London, set to take place from November 13-20 at The O2 in London. He secured his spot following his a third-round win over David Goffin on at the BNP Paribas Masters in Paris,
Cilic first joined the FILA family when he was 16 years old, as a junior player. After a few years apart, he reunited with the brand, signing a sponsorship agreement with FILA prior to the 2016 U.S. Open.
