Drew Brees Announces Super Service Challenge Winners and $1,000,000 Charitable Donation

Release Date: 30 Jan 2015
This year, the big winners during Super Bowl Weekend won't only be on the playing field. On Friday, January 30th, NFL Quarterback Drew Brees announced the winners of Super Service Challenge, a nation-wide initiative that inspires groups of people to join together to serve their communities.

The grand prize winner, a New Orleans-based Raising Cane's restaurant, received a check for $50,000 for Youth Rebuilding New Orleans. The restaurant was honored by Super Service Challenge ambassador, Drew Brees, and founder Dave Lindsey at a press conference in Phoenix this morning. Also recognized were Avnet and CRF, Inc., who were each awarded with $25,000 for their service supporting HandsOn Greater Phoenix and Felege Hiywot Center, respectively.

Super Service Challenge started locally in Indianapolis in 2011, and has grown to a national movement inspiring acts of service. Learn more about Super Service challenge at www.SuperServiceChallenge.com.
