Sant'Agata Bolognese, 25 June 2014. This weekend's Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo in Paul Ricard, the third venue in in this year's European series, sees a new grid record with 28 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 lined up and ready to roll. This impressive figure underlines the series' growth, with a similar trend in the North American series that also races this weekend in Watkins Glen (NY) with 17 cars: two more than the previous Laguna Seca round.

The protagonists in Paul Ricard will include Dutchman Jeroen Mul, undisputed ruler of the two races held in Silverstone. The Automobili Lamborghini Racing Team Germany driver is now second overall in the PRO Class, just one point behind the Serbian/Italian duo made up of Edoardo Piscopo and Milos Pavlovic (Bonaldi Motorsport).

The PRO Class will also see the season's debut of Italian Davide Stancheris, who raced from 2010 to 2012 in the Italian GT Championship achieving the 2011 GT Cup title with the Gallardo Super Trofeo.
