The Zampieri-Mavlanov Duo (Antonelli Motorsport) Claims Their First Win At Paul Ricard
Sant'Agata Bolognese/Le Castellet, 21st June 2015. Daniel Zampieri and Roman Mavlanov put to an end Kujala's domination by claiming Race Two at Paul Ricard in the third round of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe.

The Italian/Russian win was no surprise as Zampieri also set fastest time in the first session of qualifying. Kujala (Bonaldi Motorsport) still managed to win Race One, however, achieving his fifth straight win.

All changed in Race Two. The Finnish driver took the early lead but was soon passed by Mavlanov, and later slowed down for a spin and by a stop and go penalty.

It was a fourth place overall and PRO-AM Class win for the Automobile Tricolore pair made up by Raffaele Giannoni and the 2014 PRO Champion Milos Pavlovic. The Italian/Serbian crew took the flag before the Leipert Motorsport duo Mikko Eskelinen/Kevin Snoeks who managed in the last stages of the race to pass by Loris Spinelli and Marco Moscato who shared the wheel of the Antonelli Motorsport car.

Laurent Jenny and Cedric Leimer (X-BIONIC Racing Team) also had an impressive race claiming AM Class win. It was the second win in a row, and third so far, for Carina Lima and Andrea Palma in the AM-Gallardo Class with the duo flying the banner high for Imperiale Racing.

There was attrition though: both the Raton Racing cars spun out early, which started from second row and driven by Edoardo Liberati and Alberto Di Folco. Giacomo Barri also retired In the early stages after having claimed P2 in yesterday's Race One along with his team-mate Alberto Cerqui. The Safety Car was deployed following several contacts in the first corners.

The next round of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe is scheduled for the 24th and 25th of July at the Belgian SPA Circuit Paul Ricard in the same weekend as the prestigious Blancpain Endurance Series 24hrs race.

Raffale Giannoni #96 – Automobile Tricolore (PRO-AM Class winner): "Even if the car was not as balanced as we would have liked it, I've still managed to climb up from P17 to P10 in the first stint. I than handed the wheel to Pavlovic who took the Class lead."

Laurent Jenny #63 – X-BIONIC Racing Team (AM Class winner): "Leimer made a brilliant start climbing up to P7. He still managed to keep a considerable pace even after the Safety Car. Than it was my turn and all went well. I would like to thank once more my team and my sponsor."
