Kia Motors America Posts Largest Quarterly Pre-owned Sales in Company History & Announces New India Plant

Kia Motors America’s (KMA) Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales reached an all-time high in the first quarter of 2017 with 19,453 units recorded.  This outstanding performance also saw Kia’s Sedona minivan post a 170.2 percent sales increase over the same period last year.

Autodata’s March CPO retail sales report confirms that when it comes to pre-owned vehicles, Kia continues to outpace the industry with an overall impressive 17.3 percent increase year-over-year through the first quarter. Click here to read more​​

In other news, Kia have also recently announced plans to build a new manufacturing plant in India. Kia Motors has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the State Government of Andhra Pradesh, India to build a new manufacturing facility in Anantapur District. Click here to read more

CNH  Industrial 2017 First Quarter Revenues up 5.8% to $5.7 billion

Agricultural brand CNH Industrial are also seeking to grow in 2017. CNH Industrial N.V. (NYSE:CNHI / MI:CNHI) announced consolidated revenues of $5,681 million for the first quarter of 2017, up 5.8% compared to the first quarter of 2016. Net sales of Industrial Activities were $5,384 million in the first quarter of 2017, up 6.1% compared to the first quarter of 2016. Reported net income was $49 million for the first quarter of 2017. SEAT Achieves the Largest Fleet Sales Order in Its History With a Sole Delivery of 1,750 Cars in Turkey

Another brand looking to have a successful 2017 is SEAT. In 2016 the Spanish car giant achieved the best financial results in its history​ and they might be on track to better that in 2017 with orders like this...

SEAT signed the largest fleet sales deal with sole delivery in all its history together with its distributor in Turkey, Dogus Automotive. Turkish pharmaceutical leading company Abdi Ibrahim purchased 1,750 units of the SEAT Leon to be used by its sales workforce. This week SEAT delivered the first 100 units of the Leon and will complete the operation by the end of August of this year. Click here to read more
