The New York International Auto Show Opens its Doors

After Geneva, it's New York's turn in the spotlight. North America's largest attended auto show is getting underway and we can expect nearly 1,000 cars and trucks displayed over more than four floors. We can also expect a whole raft of launches and unveilings.

South Korean manufacturer Genesis is introducing the 2019 G70 to the U.S. market. According to Manfred Fitzgerald, Global Head of the Genesis Brand: “The G70 is all about the driver’s experience. We look forward to how our youngest and most dynamic sedan will connect with our clientele through refined performance and athletic elegant design.” For copyright free images, click here.

Kia has been busy at this year's show. As well as a completely redesigned Kia K900 sedan, it's also unveiled the refreshed 2019 Sedona minivan which offers an 8-speed automatic transmission aimed at increasing fuel efficiency.  For the full story, click here.

Concept cars were big news at Geneva, expect more of the same at New York. For example. the Croatian brand Rimac will be showing off its C_Two electric hypercar. Designed by its in-house team and made entirely from scratch with all-new technologies - the car will go from 0-60mph in just 1.85 seconds and has a top speed of 258mph.

The New York International Auto Show takes place between March 28th - April 8th.
