MEPs say: if Brits vote 'no', the UK is definitely out of the EU

Release Date: 24 Feb 2016
At a summit last week EU leaders agreed on a deal amending the UK's EU conditions of membership. The EPP Group and other MEPs say that the UK's decision will be final and that there will be no further negotiations. MEPs discussed the deal with the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and the European Council President Donald Tusk during a European Parliament plenary session in Brussels. Commission President Juncker was optimistic that Britain would vote 'yes' in its referendum on EU membership on 23 June.
