Increasing awareness of domestic violence and furthering prevention efforts are vital in the fight to end this national problem. Verizon's HopeLine program provides financial support to domestic violence organizations and agencies to prevent violence educate communities and empower victims and survivors. This October, in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, you can show support by going purple and purchasing exclusive purple HopeLine accessories from Verizon stores or on their website. For every purple accessory sold, HopeLine will donate one dollar, up to one hundred thousand dollars to the National Domestic Violence Hotline. In addition to this, you can help HopeLine reach its goal of collecting one million phone donations by the end of the year. Donating is easy. Just drop off your used wireless phones, chargers and accessories, from any carrier, at a Verizon store, and HopeLine will turn them into financial support for domestic violence awareness and prevention organizations.
