Expanding its reach beyond Hanover-based Agritechnica – platform dedicated to suppliers of forestry technologies - INTERFORST Munich 15-18 October 2026
The DLG (German Agricultural Society) will launch a forestry-focused Systems & Components, its renowned supplier platform for off-highway mobile machinery, at the upcoming INTERFORST trade fair in Munich, Germany. This marks the first time the format will be presented as a special forestry edition outside of Agritechnica, the world’s largest agricultural machinery exhibition.
With six successful editions at Agritechnica since 2011, Systems & Components has become a key B2B meeting place for engineers, developers, system integrators, and procurement professionals. Its debut at INTERFORST, international key trade fair for forestry and forest technology organized by Messe München, will offer forestry equipment manufacturers direct access to suppliers of increasingly sophisticated systems and technologies for intelligent forestry machinery.
“We are pleased about this cooperation and strategic partnership with Messe München and the opportunity to open up another platform for the important forestry equipment sector, where machinery is becoming ever more advanced,” says Jens Kremer, Managing Director of DLG Markets, DLG’s trade fair and event business.
With DLG’s launch of “System & Components Forestry” in Munich INTERFORST is expanding its exhibition and specialist program to include new systems and advanced components essential for boosting the efficiency, sustainability, and performance of forestry technology.
“We are pleased about this cooperation and strategic partnership. With the addition of the joint Systems & Components Forestry area, visitors to the trade fair will gain a comprehensive overview of the entire value chain. This is exactly what trade visitors need to make informed decisions,” says Cornelia Lutz, Senior Director Exhibitions, INTERFORST.
“At the same time, we are giving our exhibitors' engineers and developers a comprehensive overview of the complete range of systems and components for their project business. Exhibitors and visitors alike will benefit from the establishment and use of this additional network and the discussion of content: better networking, more efficient project planning, and faster innovation paths for the entire industry,” Petra Westphal, Director INTERFORST.
Further details will be announced as part of the official communications for INTERFORST 2026.
This launch of Systems and Components Forestry aligns with DLG’s mission since 1885 to facilitate knowledge at venues, like Agritchnica, that supports informed decision-making in the agricultural sector.
Systems & Components showcases innovations in vehicle electronics, hydraulics, engines, , cabs and power lift as well as drivetrain technology and spare and replacement parts.
This year, the seventh edition of Systems & Components will take place at Agritechnica, from 9–15 November 2025 in Hanover, Germany. With more than 850 exhibitors across three of Agritechnica’s 23 halls, the event is fully booked and integrated into the broader Agritechnica experience.
Exhibitor registration for INTERFORST 2026 is now open and interested manufacturers of components and systems for the forestry industry can contact DLG’s Petra Kaiser at: systemsandcomponents@dlg.org.
